Chenault Consulting, Inc. (CCI) is seeking an experienced Pipeline Construction Supervisor to provide field oversight of third-party contractors performing pipeline and dirt work construction.
The primary responsibility of this position is to represent the client’s interests in the field and ensure contractors are meeting the client’s safety, quality, and construction requirements.
Responsibilities
Oversee third-party contractors performing pipeline and oilfield construction.
Monitor Fiberspar pipe installation and verify proper handling, installation, connections, and procedures.
Monitor contractor compliance with client safety, quality, and construction standards.
Oversee dirt work associated with access roads, rights-of-way, and facilities.
Monitor grading, excavation, trenching, drainage, backfilling, compaction, and site restoration.
Identify and document safety concerns, quality issues, and construction deficiencies.
Communicate contractor performance and field concerns to client representatives.
Complete accurate daily reports and construction documentation.
Qualifications
Fiberspar installation experience required.
Pipeline and oilfield construction experience required.
Experience with dirt work, location construction, and heavy equipment operations.
Previous construction supervision, inspection, or contractor-oversight experience preferred.
Strong understanding of pipeline construction, excavation, and field safety practices.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to work in field conditions.
This is a contractor-oversight position. The successful candidate will serve as the client’s eyes and ears in the field, helping ensure third-party contractors perform work safely, correctly, and according to the client’s expectations.
